Weight Loss

Can an Infrared Sauna really help me lose weight?

The short answer is yes.  The long answer is that if you are serious about losing weight an infrared sauna is the best, safest & most natural tool to aid in your weight loss goals.

A smaller You? An Active You?  A Healthier You?

Your Deserve to Look and Feel Better

The truth is you do burn up to 700 calories in a 45 minute session depending on the volume of sweat released.  You absolutely lose a tremendous amount of water and you will absolutely gain back that water weight.  What you won’t gain back are the calories expended producing the sweat or the toxins released like heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and fat soluble chemicals- PCB’s, PBB’s HCB’s, and others that primarily accumulate in the fat cells and play a part in preventing the body from eliminating fat.

Although the infrared sauna produces a passive cardiovascular workout, calorie expenditure, and detoxification, it does not provide muscle tone which is critical to longevity and can further aid your weight loss goals.

Everyone has heard the saying, “if you don’t use it, you lose it”.  Your doctor can confirm that strengthening your weight bearing muscles will keep you walking in old age and more independent in daily activities.  It is easy to incorporate light stretching and hand weight or other repetitious exercises prior to or during your sauna session to maximize your weight loss goals.

How many other ways can you sit still and read a book get a cardiovascular workout and burn as many calories as you would running for 45 minutes?

Don’t take my word for it.  Read the medical studies below.  See the real benefits of far infrared light and the tremendous health benefits it provides.  Looking to have your health insurance cover the cost of your sauna.  Use these studies to make your case.
